About Us

My name is Saied Samaiel, and I am the owner of Aybla Grill. I was born in Syria, where I began learning to cook authentic Syrian food from my mother. After moving to Lebanon, I worked in hotels and restaurants, moving from kitchen to kitchen and learning new skills while preparing Lebanese food. I later moved to Cyprus to learn authentic Greek cuisine. At 18 years old, I moved to the island of Crete, Greece, where I cooked authentic Greek food and catered for 10 years.

In 2001, I moved to the United States and worked in Greek restaurants around town. In 2003, I began working at the Hilton Hotel downtown, where I continued learning and developing my skills until 2006. While working at the Hilton, I opened my first food cart in 2005. Since then, I have continued dedicating my business to serving my customers with fresh food, authentic recipes, and great customer service.

At Aybla Grill, we serve fresh and flavorful Greek and Mediterranean food made with quality ingredients and original recipes. Whether you are looking for catering for your next event or simply want an authentic Greek or Mediterranean meal, we are here to provide delicious food and friendly service.

Today, Aybla Grill includes our Beaverton food cart (at BG Food Cartel), our catering services, and our mobile food truck.

Our mobile food truck is fully self-contained, fully insured and abundant, 29 feet long and 8 feet wide, and fully equipped. We are willing to travel and bring our food truck wherever you need us for your event.
